Optimization bundle paths of the building envelope for zero-carbon strategies

چکیده
Improving building energy performance with minimum emission and cost is important for zero-carbon strategies. In this regard, study mainly focuses on the envelope of an apartment block. The aim to investigate tripartite relationship between performance, CO2 emission, by using different wall roof insulation materials, various glazing types in a typical reinforced concrete five-floor block Istanbul, Turkey. simulation tool - Cove. Tool, material alternatives’ impacts use, cost, are calculated. Consequently, 32 design bundles generated. Finally, most advantageous combination explored from combinations make cost-conscious, performance-driven, environmentally-friendly decisions.
